It Takes a Village… and we are so grateful for ours!

Every step of our expansion and renovation involved MMCH teachers, families and friends, and could not have happened without the community support. The work on-ground began with MMCH dad, Dave Eaton of Arbor Mountain Tree Service removing our beloved apple tree to make room for the expansion. Our phenomenal builder and local, Peter Neal of Peter Neal & Sons, completed the majority of construction over summer break, and is now putting the finishing touches on exterior siding, basement office and storage spaces. MMCH mom, Ashley Hopwood Farrar of Meldrum Design did our architectural drawings. Ace Solar and Electrical, Jordan Excavation, Marchant Mechanical, Alpine Earthworks, Maine Fire Protections, A1 Plumbing and Heating, and other subcontractors that worked on this project… thank you all for contributing your skills and equipment!

Financial support from Sugarloaf Region Charitable Trust, Skowhegan Savings, The Stephen and Tabitha King Foundation, Davis Family Foundation, and the State of Maine Childcare Infrastructure Grant laid an indispensable foundation. We are continuing to raise funds as we continue to grow!

Thank you to all our Maine Mountain Children’s House Friends & Families for Your Support 💚💙
